Tachoblog has succumbed and joined the social networking phenomenon that is Twitter.
For those of you that have been hiding in a workshop somewhere, Twitter users send a 140 character message (called a ‘tweet’) saying whatever they want and other members ‘follow’ these so they can keep up to date. Twitter themselves describe it like this ‘Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?’
Tachoblog only joined up yesterday and was surprised to see lots of drivers letting people know where they are. There’s also the great sounding (and I’m sure great tasting too!) Roadcookin from whom Tachoblog is hoping to get the odd submission and maybe a recipe or two as well.
Tachoblog’s page will ‘tweet’ whenever a post is published or edited so you can always keep up to date.
If you’re already on Twitter then this is Tachoblog’s Twitter Page
