Tachoblog’s been a little busy with other stuff this week.  But the Tachoblog Tribe have still sent in their Views so we had to use them!

View From The Cab Logo20 427x62So join us as we join them and look through their windscreens for this week’s View From The Cab.

We begin this week by joining AZVern.  Sadly we don’t know where this is…

…’and the mail being delivered by the famous Honda Postie Bike’.  Now we don’t know about you, but Tachoblog hadn’t heard of the Honda Postie Bike before.  We’re hoping that Vic will either get in touch or comment on this week’s View From The Cab and explain.

View From The Cab Logo20 427x62We finish View From The Cab this week by catching up with Darkstaff.  He’s sent this View ‘from Avon, Colorado. We delivered a couple hundred ski poles to a rental service here. We also sat out the chain law imposed over the Vail Pass on I-70. I’ve never chained, don’t ever plan on it’…

Darkstaff 114 427x320

…’Here’s a view of the Eisenhower Tunnel’s eastbound entrance. This is on I-70 in Colorado at an altitude of 11,138 feet’…

Darkstaff 212 427x320

…’A shot of the interior of the Eisenhower tunnel’…

Darkstaff 39 427x320

…’After our Colorado run, we drove empty all the way to Kansas City, Kansas to pick up a load for California. On the way back west, I got a rare opportunity to see Wyoming during the daytime. I say rare, because I normally drive at night. Here’s a view of what I saw’…

Darkstaff 45 427x320

…’And finally, the aftermath of a slight collision between deer and rig. The cracked bumper comes courtesy of Bambi in California. Just west of Donner Pass on I-80, an unfortunate doe made the mistake of not getting out of my way, despite trying to avoid it. Lucky for me, this was all that happened. Not so lucky for the deer. You’d think after 100+ years of vehicular traffic, they’d evolve. Nope. Still dumb as stumps’.
