Don’t know about you, but it’s been a busy week here at Tachoblog Towers so we’re quite glad that it’s View From The Cab time as that means the working week must be alomst over.

This week we begin our view of the world through drivers’ windscreens in New Zealand and that means we must be dropping in on Vic H.

Vic says that ‘this week I took a few photos on the way down to Napier, the first one on the way past part of the Wairakei Geothermal Power Station’…

…’Then on the Napier-Taupo Rd, firstly near Lochinver Station’…

In America, Emailokc was enjoying  a ‘beautiful day here in Texas so far’ but he warns that ‘the cold winter weather is going to return later’.

TheNose100 was in Akron, Ohio and ‘used another truck this AM. Was too lazy to hook the trailer up to my truck’…

His lazyness might also have been caused thanks to having ‘had snow much fun digging out this gate’…

…From Springfield, Ohio he sent this View saying that the ‘driver in front of me had sealed hosed tubes, but the washers forgot a hose and other parts. The black pickup truck has them. Lucky his boss was just 10 min away, and not 5hrs away!

Finally for this week we go back to Texas and catch up with Amishtrucker who sent this View of ‘trucks parked at a roadside park a few miles east of Laredo on US59. Looking west, Laredo is just ahead’…Amishtrucker123

..This was taken on Tuesday as he was ‘coming through the canyon on I10 near downtown San Antonio’…

…’Rain falling on the streets of Missouri City. This is on HWY 6. From the 50s at dawn to freezing middle ‘of the afternoon. This is Texas weather’.

Amishtrucker311 427x320Well, that’s your lot for this week.

Before Tachoblog signs off, we’d like to thank the Tachoblog Tribe for sending in their Views.  Without them, as we’ve said before, this would be a very dull (and short) post!

If you’d like to join in with View From The Cab then you’ll be most welcome.  All you have to do is email your Views to vftc@tachoblog.com or send a tweet starting #vftc to @tachoblog, or post them on Tachoblog’s Facebook Wall. Don’t forget to include a line or two of text that says, if nothing else, where the picture was taken.

Oh! Don’t forget about Frosty Fenders, the clock’s ticking and it won’t be that long before the closing date for entries arrives.
