So here we are with the first View From The Cab of 2011.  Hope you all had a Good Christmas and New Year.

Those of you that saw the last VFTC will be understandably wondering why Tachoblog didn’t post one just before this year started as we said we would.  Well, we simply didn’t have enough Views to make it worth it.  Hopefully this is because the Tachoblog Tribe were all taking a well earned rest!

Anyway, time to get on with this week’s feature which includes those pictures that we did receive over the festive break.

We start with TheNose100 in Lancaster, New York.  He says this is near #!*$ Buffalo, New York but we don’t understand the #!*$ bit…

Heydriver and Goldie sent in this View that they’ve titled ‘A Frosty Fender and bon voyage’.  Why is it a bon voyage?  Well Heydriver’s just had heart surgery – we’re delighted to hear that he’s doing well – so won’t be with Goldie for a little while.  I’m sure you’ll join Tachoblog in wishing him a speedy recovery and we look forward to him returning to duty as soon as he’s well enough.

Staying in Heydriver counry we join Darkstaff who sent this View of ‘sunset over the Susquehanna River, seen from the Pennsylvania Turnpike near Harrisburg,Pennsylvania. Very close to home’…

And that’s all your Views for this week.  As always, Tachoblog’s thanks to the Tachoblog Tribe for sending in their Views.  Don’t forget that if you’d like to join in next time then you’ll be most welcome.  All you have to do is email your Views to vftc@tachoblog.com or send a tweet starting #vftc to @tachoblog, or post them on Tachoblog’s Facebook Wall. Don’t forget to include a line or two of text that says, if nothing else, where the picture was taken.
