Tachoblog’s View From The Cab – 31.7.09
Ok, so we’re running very late with (what is now last week’s) View From The Cab and Tachoblog does apologise for that. But, as always, the Tachoblog Tribe did send in their Views from Friday (for which we are very grateful) and there’s no way that we’re not going to use them.
We start this collection with Surfingtrucker who was heading south on I – 495, chasing the contrails of long-gone jets over Boxboro, Massachusetts.
Click below for the rest of the Views…
TheNose100 was delivering at Popcile Factory in Wheeling, Ohio…
…And then later but still in Wheeling he was lucky to be going the other way from this traffic jam.
Heydriver and Goldie were travelling along the Ohio River (but on the road of course) and sent us this View of the Cardinal Power Plant in Brilliant, Ohio…
…And also this View of a deluge in Hurricane, West Virginia where they were thinking that ‘oars are nice’.
Over in Germany it wasn’t raining on Rainerri1967 who sent this picture of the traffic in Hausach in the Black Forest…
…Later he sent these two Views of his last unload in Biberach Kinzigtal.
In Australia, Tim Giles of etruck and Prime Mover was driving a Hino FM 2632 over the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Finally Amishtrucker was on Highway 77 coming through the town of Woodsboro in Texas…
…And then through Odem…
…Between the two, he sent a View of what he says ‘is a very familiar sight on Texas highways, Mexican nationals are towing vehicles back to Mexico. Sometimes they have three cars, pulling 2 with the other one. Many of our older and slightly wrecked vehicles go to Mexico like this.’
