Tachoblog’s View From The Cab – 29.12.09
Although Tachoblog’s been quiet for the last few weeks, the Tachoblog Tribe have still been sending in their Views, so as promised (and for our final View From The Cab for this year) here are all the pictures they’ve taken.
We start by welcoming WomenTruckers to the Tachoblog Tribe. She’s sent us this View of Iowa where she’s ‘Walking in for Morning Coffee & Freshen Up’.
Click below for all the other Views…
Now we head to Charlotte in North Carolina where it’s clearly warmer and Billyjwhite (another new member of the Tachoblog Tribe – welcome!), is ‘waiting for my delivery appointment’.
Now we head to New Zealand to catch up with Vic H. Vic asks ‘Do you ever have one of those days? Firstly, a low-flying DC3 topdressing plane flying across the road’…
…’Then some road works’…
…’And then a farmer taking his cows across the road for milking. Oh well, I’m on holiday now for 2 weeks. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all’…
…Vic’s also sent us this View (although not from a Cab) of where he was on New Zealand’s North Island on Boxing Day. He says, ‘Barbie and chilly bins in the blue tent, table and seats in the other one – it was toohot to stay outside for long.’ Thanks Vic, from the chilly UK Tachoblog is very jealous!
Back in America and with the snow again, Heydriver & Goldie sent this View from Salem in Virgina saying ‘It starts’.
Now we know that there are more Views to show you, but thanks to Twitter, Tachoblog can’t access them at the moment. As soon as we can we will and post them. Until then, Tachoblog wishes you a Happy New Year.

I had better be honest about that plane in the photo, I suppose. It is a genuine DC3 and it was used as a topdressing plane, but nowadays it is fixed in place beside the main highway near Mangaweka and is used as a cafe.
