Well another Friday is upon us and that’s good news for two reasons, naturally one is that it must be time for View From The Cab.

As they do every week, the Tachoblog Tribe have been sending in their Views for which Tachoblog is always grateful. Last week’s VFTC was, perhaps, the best ever, can we beat that this week…

Let’s starts in New Zealand, so that must mean Vic H. He’s been Back down south this week. Approaching Lake Taupo in the centre of the North Island these huge clouds of steam are from the Wairakei thermal area, where there is a Geothermal Power Station…

Click below for all of this week’s Views…

There is a new viaduct being built across this thermal field, but at the moment the road turns right and soon passes along the edge of Lake Taupo, which is an old volcanic crater now filled with water and trout. This volcanic eruption was reputedly the largest natural explosion ever…

After a 50km drive around one side of the lake the road heads off across the desert after winding around these gullies…

…with the snow-covered Mt Ruapehu in the distance.

Now we head to America and Texas where Amishtrucker was first in Richwood, Southbound on 288…

…Then he heads North on Highway 36 in Needville.  Amishtrucker says that they’ve ‘been getting rain here in Texas. Perhaps the drought is over’.

Jumping around the world again, we reach Australia where TwoCrowsDown is clearly very pleased with his cleaning efforts…

…This ‘proper’ View was taken North of Wubin, Western Australia when he’d ‘stopped to do a bit of geocaching this morning. All the wildflowers are in bloom’.

Back to America again (we get around don’t we!) and we find Namanav urging us to ‘check out that Nashville sky!’

Staying not just in America but also in Tennessee, we catch up with Darkstaff who was driving into Memphis on !-40 East…

…a liitle later, he saw this ‘rainbow over Tennessee’.

In Boston, Massachusetts,  Surfingtrucker spotted a slight brushfire off of I-93 South…

…But that was yesterday, today he managed to arrive ’3 hours too early to pick up my load in Lawrence, Massachusetts…

…But once he did get it, we find him ‘rolling east on I-90 in Upton, Massachusetts on this beautiful, crisp autumn morning’.

TruckerDesiree and Karma the Wonderdog were ‘at a Mom & Pop Bio Diesel Truck Stop in Virginia’.

Two members of the Tachoblog Tribe are noteable by their absence this week; Heydriver and Goldie.  Tachoblog hears that Goldie isn’t well and sends her our best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Don’t forget that if you want to send in your View From The Cab then you’re more than welcome.  Just email vftc@tachoblog.com or, if you use twitter, tweet @tachoblog with #vftc

Thanks again to all for sending in their Views and see you next week.
