Well we’ve almost made it through another year – don’t worry there’s one more VFTC before we get to 2011 – and with Christmas looming fast, this is the Christmas Edition of View From The Cab.
This week we’ll be starting and finishing in the UK with a trip to America in between. So let’s get going!
We start by joining LittleMissTrucker who was on the M4 near Junction 30…
…Different location but there’s something similar about the view of Northampton ring road when she woke up this morning!
Now click below for the rest of this week’s Views…
A complete change of climate now as we catch up with Amishtrucker on the ‘beautiful tree lined streets in Sugar Land, Texas’…
…Now we find him ‘traveling to New Mexico for Christmas. Here on IH10 westbound near Roosevelt, Texas’…
…And then ‘north bound on TX 285 out of Ft Stockton. Nice driving weather. 75MPH along here. Very open country’.
Darkstaff’s first View is of the ‘sunrise over the mountains near Picacho Peak in Arizona. Picacho Peak is on the right in this pic’…
…This is ‘Las Cruces, New Mexico. Seen heading eastbound on I-10′…
…’That black fence right there? That’s the border between the US and Mexico. In El Paso, Texas’…
…And finally from Darkstaff ‘the giant Nestle Quik bunny today rolling north on I-69 in Anderson,Indiana’.
TheNose100 was in Maple Heights, Ohio. He says this is ‘just a little Juice Plant, houses off the main drag butt up next to the property’…
…’This rise is easy to get stuck on when icy, a pivot point no less’.
From South of Boston, Massachusetts, Surfingtrucker gives us a a Tachoblog first! A View in 3D – no, really – so get those red and blue lensed glasses out now.
Finally we return to the UK (and the snow) with LordJayThunder who says ‘plenty of snow again in Teesside this afternoon, one for View From The Cab I think’ [and he's not wrong there!].
As ever, Tachoblog’s thanks to all the Tachoblog Tribe that sent in their Views.
Don’t forget that if you’d like to join in next time then you’ll be most welcome. All you have to do is email your Views to firstname.lastname@example.org or send a tweet starting #vftc to @tachoblog, or post them on Tachoblog’s Facebook Wall. Don’t forget to include a line or two of text that says, if nothing else, where the picture was taken.
Well that’s it from Tachoblog until Thursday next week – when, don’t forget – we’ll be doing VFTC again. In the meantime we’d like to wish the Tachoblog Tribe and everyone else a very Merry Christmas.
