Tachoblog’s View From The Cab – 22.1.10
Well it’s heading towards home time on a Friday so it must be time for this week’s View From The Cab.
The Tachoblog Tribe have been sending in their Views and please remember that you’re welcome to join in too. Just email your Views to vftc@tachoblog.com or send a tweet starting #vftc to @tachoblog
Anyway, we start this week’s Views with this one from TwoCrowsDown. He’s ‘Looking at the Royal Mail Hotel in Meekatharra, Western Australia on a bloody hot afternoon’ and asks ‘Ah, what’s the rush!’
Click below for the rest of this week’s Views.
Next we join TruckerDesiree who’s showing us ‘Light Rain & Fog in Tennessee’.
With TruckerDesiree is Karma the Wonderdog who sent in this saying ‘it wet doggie in forkast fer tenisea’. Obviously despite being a wonderdog, spelling is not her forte.
As always, Amishtrucker has provided us with a couple of Views, ‘the first image is from Tuesday, northbound on I35 north of Laredo, passing two new Cascadia Freightliners. Somebody is getting a new truck! But the license plate on the temporary light bar are from Wisconsin’…
…Then this one from ‘BR (business road) 288 near Lake Jackson heading into the fog. It was very foggy here Thursday morning but by daylight and Lake Jackson looks like it is breaking up a bit’.
Finally for this week, Tachoblog is delighted to hear from Vic H again. Vic’s been busy at work [that work thing always get's in the way doesn't it!] and away from home 3 or 4 nights a week most of the time with no internet access which is why we haven’t seen his Views from New Zealand for a little while.
Anyway, over to Vic who describes his Views like this, ‘A few of a rainstorm a few days ago. It is summer here in NZ of course and we have had great weather for months but occasionally a rainstorm will come from nowhere, drown the place for a few minutes and then disappear. Here you can see the first of the rain clouds arriving’…
…’Then a few raindrops on the screen and it’s time to turn the wipers on’…
…’Now it really comes down, it’s impossible to see and the wipers are useless’…
…’And very shortly afterwards the sun and wind have dried the roads and it’s back to normal’.
And that’s all from View From The Cab and Tachoblog for this week. See you again on Monday.
