Time for View From The Cab, our weekly look through the windscreens of the Tachoblog Tribe.
This week we’re in New Zealand and America and we’ll see Jesus along the way too – honest.
We begin this week’s post where we left last week’s View From The Cab ie in New Zealand with Vic H and his, err, Volvo.
Vic says, ‘I was still driving the rental Volvo this week, hence the stone guard across the bottom of the photos rather than the bonnet of the International. I had a 4-day return trip to Timaru and the first photo was taken on the way back in the Cheviot Hills, north of Christchurch’…
Now click below for more from Vic H and the rest of this week’s View From The Cab…
…’Going through the town of Cheviot I saw a beautiful red Corvette parked outside a cafe and a bit later it came up behind and then passed me and disappeared’…
…’A bit further north the road goes through the Hundalees, a winding hilly bit of road which is perfect for motorbikes and quite enjoyable in a truck as well’.
Amishtruckerwas ‘driving along Ocean Drive in Corpus Christi again today. It is a bit windy but an otherwise nice spring day. I always love this part of my run, when I get to run along the bay for a few miles’.
TJ tells us that, ‘on days like this minnesotan’s say “it’s colder than a witch’s titty!” If the temp keeps dropping, I’m calling the big man in the sky to see what can be done. Put your emergency blankets and clothes in your trunks people!’
We’re delighted to welcome Truckers Voice to View From The Cab. She was ‘in the middle of nowhere’ in North Dakota when she sent these three Views.
Finally while Darkstaff was ‘in Ogden, Utah, we got a nice dusting of snow. Just enough to make it pretty!’…
…’There was a very nice morning in Ontario, California. I so love southern California for the weather!’…
…’And finally for this week, we were in Joplin, Missouri. Right across the street (in this shot) is the home of The Chrome Shop Mafia where they film the show Trick My Truck’.
And that’s all for this week’s View From The Cab.
Tachoblog would like to thank the Tachoblog Tribe for sending in their Views. Hopefully they’ll do it all again next week!
If you’d like to join in with View From The Cab (and you drive a truck) then please do.
All you have to do is is email your Views to email@example.com or send a tweet starting #vftc to @tachoblog, or post them on Tachoblog’s Facebook Wall. Please remember include a line or two of text that says, if nothing else, where the picture was taken.
