Tachoblog’s View From The Cab – 12.6.09
Ok, ok, Tachoblog didn’t post View From The Cab on Friday.
But that doesn’t mean that the Tachoblog Tribe didn’t send in their Views…They most certainly did and we’re not going to waste them so here they are:
Tachoblog often wonders what will be the best order to show the pictures so, just so you know, this week we’ve gone for alphabetical – you weren’t that interested were you?
Anyway, Amish Trucker was driving over Lavaca Bay near Point Comfort, Texas on State Highway 35 looking at some of the chemical plants in the distance…
…Then later in the day was looking at a corn field on the right with the grain elevator at Markham, Texas in the distance, still on SH 35.
Little Trucker found that after spending a day making deliveries, there is no easy way to get out of town. Traffic is backed up for miles on the Long Island Expressway…
…She also wants to know if anyone has seen Goldie? Knowing HeyDriver has been in the vicinity, she has a look around Moonachie, New Jersey.
LorryDay sent this one of the Carlsburgers burger van which makes, groan, ‘probably the best burgers in the world!!’…
…And then this View of a roundabout in Lutterworth , just off the M1 in England that commemorates Frank Whittle – the inventor of the jet engine. When he sees this, LorryDay knows he’s nearly home.
Over in Germany, Rainerri1967 was enjoying the nice weather near Bonn – especially as he was ‘only’ 400km from at home…
…Not long after, with his load all ready, he was on the way home.
SurfingTrucker had to deal with an annoying construction zone near Worcester, Massachusetts.
Tachoblog joined the M1 in Hertfordshire, England…
…Then tried to get all arty as we left the A405 a little while later.
TheNose100 was passing the “Happy Hooker” Bait shop on Route 2 in Ohio.
Last – but only because of how Tachoblog’s showing the Views this week – TruckerDesiree and Karma the Wonderdog were in Georgia where Karma was waiting for a ‘critter’…
…There must be some as they’d seen a squirrel by one of the Trucks.

Maybe I should have been looking for SurfingTrucker…I know exactly where that CZ was at….I deliver less than a mile away!!
