Summer Trucking Winners Announced – Did You Win Asks Tachoblog
Did you enter Summer Trucking – Tachoblog’s photographic competition – this year?
Maybe you didn’t enter but you were part of the Summer Trucking Group over on Facebook and voted on the entries.
Either way, Tachoblog imagines that you’ll want to know which pictures and photographers won – and what they won too.
Well, to find out who won Summer Trucking you’ll have to click below…
As you may remember, we decided to have two categories – driver and a non-driver – with winners in each category as well as an overall winner.
We’ll do the non-driver category first.
In second place…Jonny Truckfest Lugton with this picture of a 46 year old truck.
Jonny wins a Tachomaster goody bag.
The winner of the non-driver category and ‘walking away’ with a rather nice Allison Transmission jacket is…TJ!
Now we’ll move onto the driver category.
In fourth place is Collett Transport who win a hat, flask and tyre preassure gauge courtesy of Michelin North America and Michelin Europe.
In joint second is Keith Palerider Lawson who wins an Allison Trnsmission jacket.
Also in joint second and winning a year’s subscription to Classic and Vintage Commercials is Vic H – or should that be Val H as it was her that entered? Maybe they can share.
And in first place and also our overall winner is DriverGeoff. It’s a good day for him today as not only has he won Summer Trucking, but it’s his birthday too! So Happy Birthday DriverGeoff from Tachoblog. DriverGeoff wins Michelin North America and Michelin Europe hat, flask and tyre preassure gauge and also a copy of the excellent Roadcookin book thanks to Roadcookin.
If you’re one of the winners then please email Tachoblog (mystuff@tachoblog.com) with your address and we’ll get your prize sent to you.
Finally, a massive thank you to the following companies for kindly donating the prizes.
Thanks to the generosity of several companies – and Tachoblog is delighted to say that this is a growing list – we have some great prizes for the winners too.
Michelin North America and Michelin Europe

Internationals must be a good-looking truck, 2 of them getting equal 2nd place!
Looking forward to receiving the magazine, it will be very welcome.
Good deal! Glad to see so many winners!
Tachoblog hadn’t spotted the International bias!
Our thanks, once again, to everyone that took part.
