Tachoblog is delighted to announce the launch of Summer Trucking, a photo competition (with prizes!) that you can all enter.

Summer Trucking

Following on from the success of Frosty Fenders (if you don’t know about that then you’d better see LakewoodLoon’s Frosty Fenders guest post), Tachoblog can now bring you news of our new photo competition, Summer Trucking.

We want you to post up a picture of a truck in the summer – how you interpret that is up to you.

It doesn’t have to be your truck, but please make sure you let us know if it is or not.

The reason we want to know that is because they’ll be winners in both the ‘My Truck’ and ‘Not My Truck’ categories.

And winners deserve prizes!

Tachoblog’s already grateful to both Tachomaster who’ve promised a ‘goody bag’ and Don from Roadcookin who’s given us a copy of the Roadcookin book.

We’re speaking to some other people too, and we hope they’ll also be kind enough to sponsor the competition by giving us some prizes – if you’d like to do that then please get in touch.

So, how do you enter?

All you have to do is join the Summer Trucking group on Facebook and post your picture(s) there.

The picture must have been taken in 2011.

Summer Trucking members will then ‘vote’ by liking any pictures that they, errm, like.

When the competiton closes, the pictures with the most likes will be declared the winners.

You’ve got until 30 September 2011 to post your pictures.

Voting / Liking closes on 31 October 2011 and we’ll announce the winners on the 1st of November 2011.

So get started by joining the Summer Trucking group today!
