Now That Is Big Says Tachoblog
This is certainly what you call an abnormal load.
This ‘piece’, 14m x 7.4m x 7.9m/ 86,000kgs, was recently moved by road from the suppliers premises to PuXiang port, ZhangJiaGang, Jiangsu Province, China by forwarder and Global Project Logistics Network member Younger Niche Logistics (YNL).

YNL now has the distinction of being responsible for the movement of the single largest piece of equipment ever moved by road transport in ZhangJiaGang.
The move, covered 30 kms and took 22 hours to complete. Unsurprisingly it involved the services of local ZhangJiaGang government, the police and officials from the department of electrical power – as well as some of their workers as you can see.
Does anyone know what make of truck that is? There was also the odd signpost that needed moving too.
In order to reduce height the unit was transported minus cradles. Only once alongside vessel was the unit postioned and secured in cradles. As you can see, the 86,000kgs can certainly be felt by it’s trailer which looks as if it’s almost touching the ground.
Finally, here it is on a ‘clear’ run.

Hi,
Regarding the question about what made of truck that is, this is a SHACMAN tractor which is built in China based on M.A.N technology plus some imported ingredients. Detail can be found from below address.
