Whilst this YouTube clip of a 1951 LJ Mack is, in Tachoblog’s opinion, a modern film made to look ‘period’, nothing detracts from the star at all.
Ever the surfer, Tachoblog went to have a look at bradsclassictrucks.com who produced this video and got a little more than expected.
As well as being an obvious fan of classics, Brad P. Wike also runs BPW Transport who are based just North of Hickory, NC off of NC Hwy 127 and have ‘over forty trailers, mostly dry vans and five late model Peterbilt tractor trucks running full time delivering all types of freight including some flatbed and drop deck work.’
However it is Brad’s passion for classic trucks that caught Tachoblog’s eyes. On his site Brad lists many trucks for sale as well as, quite understandably, showing off some of his own that he shows such as this beautiful 1964 Emeryville (Photo Copyright BPW).
Tachoblog has dropped Brad a line, not only to let him know about this posting but also in the hope that he’ll send in some pictures and text about his wonderful collection. If he does, you can be sure that Tachoblog will be posting them up!
