New Zealand Earthquake – A Personal Report From Vic For Tachoblog
Tachoblog would be very surprised to hear of anyone that wasn’t aware of the earthquake measuring 7.1 on the Richter Scale that shook New Zealand on Saturday.

Friday so definitely time for a video clip on Tachoblog. As is often the case, we have the excellent etruck to thank for alerting us to this one.
Those of you that have seen Tachoblog’s last two View From The Cab posts will know that our New Zealand correspondent Vic H has recently had a little bit of time off.
Now, rather than hit the beach or nightclubs – we suspect that the latter is probably not his cup of tea (or glass of wine) – Vic’s been out and about doing other things and kindly sent Tachoblog some pictures.
Enjoy the arty opening silhouette shadows sequence, then join Tachoblog onboard as we travel northbound from Waiouru and Ohakune in last winter’s snow.
The Tachoblog Tribe’s chief correspondent from New Zealand has sent us this set of photographs that document a trip from Gisborne to Auckland. So settle down and enjoy thesights with your tour guide Vic H.
Vic H and his 2003 International 9400i (that’s it below) have spent the last few days out on a trip carrying wine around Gisborne and Hawke’s Bay in New Zealand.
