Tachoblog’s View From The Cab – 7.8.09
For the first time in what seems like a long time, Tachoblog brings you View From The Cab on a Friday as it should be.
Once again the Tachoblog Tribe have been kind enough to send in their Views for us all to enjoy. This week’s crop might be down on Tribe Members – well, it is summer holiday time of year – but rest assured that we’re not short of Views. We’re also delighted to be welcoming a new member to the Tachoblog Tribe, so let’s get on with it…
We start with Heydriver and Goldie who show us ‘Farm work on a fine summer morn in Telford, Pennsylvania’…
…Then a ‘dirty dashboard and broken clock’ when they’re near Kutztown, Pennsylvania.
Click below for the rest of this week’s Views…
Next we welcome Darkstaff to the Tachoblog Tribe who sent us this View (the first of many over the coming weeks we hope) of the ‘Toronto Exodus’ in Tonawanda, New York State, USA.
In Europe, Rainerri1967 was waiting for his last unload in Oberndorf am Neckar, Germany.
Now it’s over to TheNose100 who is at Agrana in Anna, Ohio with a View OF The Cab…
…Then a View of what he calls ‘Sputnik Tanks’…
…And a close up of the same tanks of which he says, ‘Methinks that they’re from the cold war, put to use at the juice plant. – Weird, there’s a Neil Armstrong museum just down the road from here…’
Emailokc was waiting to be loaded at the dock in Knoxville, Tennessee.
The Great Canadian Pumpkin had a special co-driver with him, his son Naj…
…Which of them took this great View of a Nasty storm moving into Woodstock, New Brunswick, Canada. Which of the two of them took this picture Tachoblog doesn’t know but we do know that it’s a great View!…
…Now they’re entering Nova Scotia, which, according to The Great Canadian Pumpkin may be ‘the only time I get to the east coast’…
…There was a long wait to cross the border at Calais, Maine…
…No wonder, that is a tiny border facility! Tachoblog thinks the whole place looks like it should be in a Northen English town…
…And the final View, a self-portrait of Naj.
Back in America, SurfingTrucker was crossing the George Washington bridge in New York City…
…Then he went underneath the apartments on the Cross-Brox…
…Where there was light at the end of the underpass.
Well, that’s you lot for this week. We’ll see you all again on Monday. Don’t forget that you can join in with View From The Cab…just send your View to vftc@tachoblog.com or tweet it to @tachoblog.
