1969 Kenworth LW924 With Detroit 12V71
Thanks to Tim Giles from the excellent etruck, Tachoblog can bring you this video of a 1969 Kenworth LW924 with a Detroit 12V71 engine – one of only two such vehicles in Australia apparently!
The truck itself was formly owned by Quarry Industries, Adelaide and as well as the Detroit engine, it also has Fuller RTO 1213, Spicer P -1241 -C Auxillary, Timken Rockwell double reduction SFDD and a 4640 . 68 ton mass.
In the video you can see it pulling B-double log trailers around the Mount Gambier region of SA.

Hi Tachoblog,
I know the man who ows the Kenworth well! His name is Murray Langford – he totally restored this truck from the chassis rails up!
